On the 30th of June, 2019, the German Embassy, Abuja was throwing a send forth party for its out-going Ambassador. I was in India a few days to the event and I was determined to attend it. After all it was a milestone for me and for The CANS. I booked a return flight on the 28th of June and went out to experience vegetarian cuisine with some friends. I did get back home in time for the event but with a bad case of food poisoning. I am only too glad my beards hid the grimace behind my smile.
